FRESHMAN MOVE-IN

Join us for a unique missional opportunity to engage and serve over 4,000 new students that will be moving to Clemson Saturday, August 18. Come hold a door, carry a box, or engage parents as we move students into their dorm. We will meet in the foyer of the Crosspoint Auditorium at 8:30 AM. Please wear your Crosspoint shirt if you have one, and don’t worry if you don’t have one — we’ll give you one when you arrive!

Loving our community

We desire to be used by God to see the gospel permeate our community as we display and declare the love of God in many ways. We want to see this happen through individuals living on mission, small groups serving together, and the church engaging the lost as the body of Christ.

Three levels of involvement

1) You

A disciple of Jesus is being transformed by the gospel and living daily on mission. In other words, the normal Christian life includes a concern and effort to share the good news with people in our spheres of influence: family, neighbors, friends and co-workers. We want to equip every believer to share the gospel with whoever they encounter wherever they live, work, and play.

2) Groups

Working together in outreach spurs us on in our personal spiritual growth and deepens our experience of fellowship. We have nearly 40 small groups throughout our community that pursue growth through living on mission together. We desire to see all of our groups on mission together at least once per semester, whether that be in their neighborhood or through serving together in one of the upcoming or ongoing outreach opportunities.

3) Church

By serving alongside one another corporately, we desire to display Jesus’ worth to our community in order to reach our community with the gospel.

Upcoming Opportunities

Foster Resource Center

Crosspoint and Fostering Faithfully have partnered together to offer a Resource Center for foster families in Pickens County. The Resource Center has everything foster parents need when they take a new placement or throughout placements. Foster parents can find cribs/beds/mattresses, baby equipment, bottles, toiletry needs, clothes (sizes NB-14/16), shoes, diapers/wipes, school supplies, pajamas, and new socks/underwear at the center.

Volunteers and groups are needed on a regular basis to help stock the Center by conducting drives or to help clean out, sort, and organize the donated items. All donations are tax deductible and a tax receipt can be provided. Items needed can be found on Fostering Faithfully’s WISH LIST. Donations can be brought to the drop box at Crosspoint Church, located on the right side of the church campus, down from the church office. Due to limited space, toys are not accepted.
