Mask Update and Call to Prayer

Crosspoint Family,

I am writing to provide a quick update on Crosspoint’s mask policy as well as a call to prayer for a family in need.

Mask Update – Continuing Masks this Sunday

As some of you may have recently seen, Governor McMaster issued an Executive Order on May 11 which nullifies local government mandates on masks. The City of Clemson has followed this directive by removing their city-wide ordinance while also continuing to recommend citizens observe CDC guidelines for face coverings and social distancing.

To accommodate all worshippers and previously scheduled volunteers, we will continue to operate under the Phase 3 Regathering Guidelines this Sunday, May 16 in which masks are required. To review our Phase 3 Guidelines, please click here

In each of Crosspoint’s Regathering Phases, our leaders have sought to care for the needs of our church family while also honoring government recommendations in establishing guidelines and policies for church gatherings. In light of the removal of the mask ordinance in the City of Clemson, the Crosspoint Elders will discuss a plan moving forward on Monday evening, May 17.

Prayer for Braeden Pelletier

As Pastor Jason Finley mentioned this past Sunday, please join us in continuing to intercede for the Pelletier family. Braeden (17) remains in the ICU in poor condition from his head trauma in last week’s car accident. Braeden has been an influential leader in our student ministry and has recently become a part-time employee at Crosspoint. Pray for healing for Braeden as well as wisdom and strength for Braeden’s parents Daryl & Angela, and his brother Gabriel (13). Daryl and Angela are meaningfully involved in the Saxon/Strawderman Small Group.

Lovingly in Christ,

Will Jackson
