Ken Lewis | Senior Pastor

Ken is committed to preach and teach God’s word to the body of Christ. Prior to planting Crosspoint Church, Ken served as senior pastor of West Asheville Baptist Church in Asheville, NC (6 years) and Pisgah Forest Baptist Church in Brevard, NC (4.5 years). Pastor Ken graduated from Clemson University (1983) and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1989) with his MDiv. While attending seminary, Ken met his wife, Robin Shealy, who earned her MDiv (1988). Ken and Robin married in May of 1988 and have three sons: Daniel, Caleb and Matt.

Jeremy Chasteen | College and Missions Pastor

Jeremy serves as the College and Missions Pastor as well as the Generation LINK Director. He has a B.A. in Business Administration from East Carolina University and a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeremy greatly values and loves his family. He married Liz in 1999 and they have four children: Carson (2004), Bryn (2006), Lydia (2008), and Spencer (2011). Liz is a stay-at-home mom and has a passion for caring for their family. Liz is involved in Crosspoint's college ministry, Generation LINK and loves mentoring younger women.

Jason Finley | Discipleship Pastor

Jason’s desire is to equip men and women to glorify God through making disciples of Jesus. He gives oversight to adult discipleship and Small Groups. He earned a B.S. in Science Teaching – Biological Sciences from Clemson (2000), a MDiv (2004) and DMin (2015) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Jason met his wife, Cayce, as a student at Clemson and they married June 3, 2001. They have two daughters: Reese (2003) and Anna (2010) and four sons: Will, (2005), Stu & Clark (2006), and Nathan (2011).

Josh Jones | Family Ministries Pastor

Josh is passionate about seeing families’ lives transformed by the Gospel. After graduating from Texas A&M (2004), Josh attended a nine-month discipleship program at Denton Bible Church in Denton, TX. This year was formative in shaping his desires for ministry and his understanding of the word of God. Josh earned a Masters in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary (2006). Josh moved to Clemson to serve at Crosspoint with his family in August of 2010. He is married to Ashley and they have three children: Ivy, Hudson and Caleb.

Matt Denton | Lay Pastor

Matt is currently a structural engineer at Amec Foster Wheeler in Greenville. After graduating from Clemson University in 2007, he served on staff with Generation LINK for three years working with college ministry and one year as a Pastoral Assistant. He holds both a B.S. & M.S. In Civil Engineering from Clemson University and also a M.Div in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He married Tara Kneece in 2010 and they have three children: Andrew (2012), Rett (2013), and Emery Kate (2016). When he gets free time, he loves spending time with his family, watching football, drinking coffee, running, or reading.

Jason Smith | Lay Pastor

Jason grew up in Salem, SC and has been married to Susan since 1998. After their first daughter, Emerson Rose, passed away at 3 months in 2011, the Lord has blessed them with two daughters, Rowan and Campbell. Jason and Susan launched the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation shortly after Emerson’s death to display the gospel through providing support for families and children of heart defects. Jason graduated from Tammassee-Salem High School and Southern Wesleyan University (1996). Jason is self-employed buying and selling real estate.

Mark Welborn | Lay Pastor

Mark grew up in Pickens, SC and graduated from Clemson in 1981 with a degree in Business Administration. Mark married Cathy in 1983 and the Lord has blessed them with three children: Ashley, Ben, and Adam. Overflowing from a love for God’s Word, the Lord has given Mark a deep love for the local church. In 2005, Mark and Cathy played a pivotal role in the planting of Crosspoint Church by committing to relocate their family with the Lewis’s to Clemson to help start Crosspoint Church.

Ministerial Team


Brock Bass | Student Minister

Brock desires to partner with families in the spiritual formation and discipleship of middle school and high school students. He earned both a B.S. (2011) and M.S. (2014) in Psychology from Clemson. Brock became a Generation LINK Resident in 2014, serving on staff with a church plant (Essential Church) in Bellevue, WA for three years. While in the Pacific Northwest, Brock began his pursuit of a MDiv from Gateway Seminary and will continue through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brock is married to his first and forever love, Savannah.

Abbey Cook | College Ministry Associate and Generation LINK Assistant Director

Abbey is thankful for the privilege to serve as the Generation LINK Assistant Director. She has a passion to disciple women and see the gospel transform their lives, to grow in their love for God and His Word, and to be equipped in biblical womanhood as it relates to others, the church, and the home. Abbey holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from the College at Southeastern and a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She enjoys hanging out with friends, exploring the city, a good cup of coffee, reading, and traveling.

Katelin Domanski | Discipleship Associate - Assimilation and Ministry to Women

Katelin desires to connect people into meaningful community through membership and to equip women to be encouraged and sent to live on mission in every season of life. She holds a B.S. in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University (2009) and a Masters of Education from Clemson University (2012). She has a growing interest in Biblical Counseling and is currently studying Christian Ministry (MDiv) at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Chad Ferrell | Director of Missions

Chad has a passion to see the nations reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to see disciples equipped to plant healthy churches throughout the ends of the earth. He earned a B.S. in Communication from Appalachian State University (2007) and a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2010). He married his high school sweetheart, Christy, in 2008. They served in India through Generation LINK for a little over a year before coming to Crosspoint. They have three sons: Grayson (2012), Bowen (2015) and Miller (2017).

Ryan Heard | Director of Communications

Ryan aims to help Crosspoint advance the gospel and make disciples by utilizing strategic thinking and creativity to achieve effective communication through all of its mediums. He earned a B.A. in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson (2010) and a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2015) while serving as a Generation LINK Resident in College ministry and Communications at Crosspoint (2010-2015). You’ll likely find him spending time with friends and family, discussing college football and investing in fellow Young Professionals at Crosspoint.

Will Jackson | Director of Operations

Will oversees Crosspoint's finances, facilities and staff. His passion is to see God’s people grow from consumers to contributors of the Kingdom so that Great Commission work can flourish. He earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Clemson (2011) and a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2015). Will has previously served as an Industrial Engineer and as a Generation LINK Resident. Will met his wife, Kimberly, in middle school and married her 13 years later (2013). Kimberly works for a local non-profit organization.

Ronnie Morris | Worship Minister

Ronnie longs to see God’s people worshiping Him in spirit and truth in all facets of their lives. He helps to make this a reality through serving as Crosspoint’s Worship Minister. Shortly after Ronnie graduated from Clemson (2004), he served as a Generation LINK Resident with Crosspoint for four years as Crosspoint’s Worship Leader. He earned an MDiv in Christian Ministry (2011) as well as a ThM in Biblical Counseling (2017) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ronnie is married to Allison, and they have a son named Tripp, a son named Kline, and a dog named Tiger.

Administrative Team


Sheila Campbell | Financial Administrator

Sheila is the financial administrator in the Crosspoint office. Her desire is to show Christ's love to others through her daily life at work and in the community. She enjoys serving in the cafe and nursery here at Crosspoint. Sheila has been married to her husband Richey since 1991. She has a son named Lane and a daughter named Brianna.

Roddy Campbell | Facility Director

Roddy is a retired general contractor who is using his talents to maintain the Crosspoint facility. Roddy is married to Cheryl Campbell. Together they have seven adult children and 19 grandchildren. He and Cheryl are members of Grace Baptist Church in Seneca.

Jennifer Cohenour | Administrative Assistant

Jennifer grew up in Athens, TN and attended Bob Jones University where she earned a BS in Women's Ministries (2011). She worked as Client Services Director for a crisis pregnancy center in Pennsylvania before she and her husband, Michael, moved to South Carolina. Her desire is to intentionally and compassionately serve others with the love and grace of Christ.

Rachel Ledbetter | Administrative Assistant

Rachel enjoys serving the front office by welcoming and receiving guests warmly through intentionally serving their needs. She is passionate about serving with graphic design, filmography, and social media. She enjoys assisting the entire staff with administrative needs and in serving on Sunday mornings with Media. Rachel graduated from Bob Jones University with a BS in Cinematography (2016). One of her greatest joys is being a wife to Matt and a mother to her growing baby boy, Levi.

Lisa Burgess | Family Ministries

Lisa is in her third year as a Generation LINK resident serving in family and children's ministry. She graduated from Clemson University in May of 2014 with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and is pursuing a Master's degree in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before working in full time ministry, Lisa taught 4 year old preschool at Upstate Children's Center of Walhalla. Lisa desires to come alongside families to help impart the truth of God's Word to children.

Rachel Dietrich | Assistant to Pastor Ken

Rachel is a third-year Generation LINK Resident. She loves being able to serve as a Pastoral Assistant to our Senior Pastor, Ken Lewis, working to Coordinate our Member’s Meetings, and serving with our Legacy Ministry. Rachel graduated with a BA in Christian Theology from Anderson University (2016) and is currently studying Christian Ministry (MDiv) at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Her husband, Tim, is one of the greatest joys in her life. As a family they enjoy backpacking, cycling, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.

Heath Fulmer | College & International

Heath loves his Crosspoint family and began attending in the fall of 2005 as a freshman at Clemson University. It is through this church family that he met his beautiful bride and helper Crystal. In his time at Clemson, the Lord developed a passion in Heath to labor according to His will that every tribe, tongue and nation will one day sit before the throne of God worshipping Him. He longs to see others mature into the likeness of Christ. Over the years, Heath developed a reputation as a physical force to be reckoned, a fierce competitor of board games, and a talented artist with his rendition of Careless Whisper.

Jordan Hargrave | Family Ministries

Jordan recently graduated with her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Southern Wesleyan University. After finishing Summer LINK Seattle in 2017, she felt that the Lord was calling her to pursue full-time ministry within the local church. Jordan is super pumped to be a Generation LINK resident serving in family and children's ministry and also college ministry. She is excited to share the love of Christ with children and also serve to disciple college girls. In her free time, Jordan enjoys running, playing volleyball, canvas painting, and eating Dunkin Donuts!

John Henschen | Discipleship

John was born and raised in Ohio and earned his bachelors degree from The Ohio State University. Alongside his wife Courtney, John served with Athletes in Action in the Baseball and Digital Strategies departments for 9 years before coming to Generation Link. John and Courtney met their first day at Athletes in Action and were married in 2010. They have four children Ainsley (2011), Millie (2013), and Luke (2015) and Wade (2017). John is currently pursuing his MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Chloe Morgan | College & Generation LINK

Chloe is thankful for the opportunity to serve on Crosspoint staff as a Generation Link Resident. Chloe and her husband, Daniel, just transitioned from a year long residency in Boston, MA. Chloe is finishing up a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Liberty University. She is excited to be in Clemson, investing in college students and working alongside of a team who is passionate about making disciples of all nations for God's glory. In her free time, Chloe enjoys using her culinary education to bake and cook for others. She also loves hanging out with her husband and snuggling with her cat, Basil.

Alice Perry | Student Ministry

Alice is thankful for the opportunity to serve Crosspoint as a Generation LINK resident in family and student ministries. She graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Marketing in May 2018 and is currently working towards a Christian Studies Masters degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Alice is excited to come alongside families to make disciples of the next generation. In her free time, she loves spending time with friends, baking, and reading.

Mark Poleynard | Worship Ministry

Mark Poleynard is from Seneca, SC and in his first year of the Generation LINK residency program, serving in worship ministry. A nine-year attendant of Crosspoint Church, he graduated from Clemson University in May, 2017 with a B.A. in Economics. After working at Tiger Sports Shop for six months post graduation, Mark felt that God might be leading him to go into full-time ministry. He looks forward to what God will do as he uses his love of music in the church and pursues an MDiv in Worship Leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his free time you will find Mark watching poorly made movies with friends, reading, and writing/playing music.

Alyssa Poole | College Ministry

Alyssa Poole is a Generation LINK Resident at Crosspoint Church and works with College Ministry. Her job role includes discipling and teaching college females and administration. Alyssa graduated from Liberty University in May 2015 and earned a degree in Elementary Education. She is currently pursuing a Master of Christian Studies through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She enjoys being outside as much as possible, hiking, running, and camping. She has a passion to make the gospel known to those who have never heard!

Jonathan Rasmussen | Family Ministries

Jonathan is passionate about lives being transformed by the Gospel. He is committed to preaching, discipling, and teaching God’s Word so that people’s lives reflect Christ in their social and work contexts. Jonathan moved from California in 2015 to South Carolina. In 2017, he joined the pastoral residency with GLINK. Jonathan is gratefully married to Ashlyn (2007). They have three beautiful children: Grace (2011), Adalai (2012), and Isaiah (2015). Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, listening to people’s life stories, kicking with people and eating all kinds of foods. His hope is to be a part of a church planting (Lord willing).

Sergio Tapia | College Ministry

Sergio is in his first year at Generation Link. He is originally from Viña del Mar, Chile. He recently graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a B.A Physical Education. He is thankful for this opportunity to serve and keep growing under Godly leadership at Crosspoint. Sergio has a desire to go and share the good news of the Gospel to the unreached and see how God transforms the lives of many. Sergio loves doing sport ministry through soccer. Currently he is part of the coaching staff in the SWU Men’s Soccer Team.

Daniel Vinton | Discipleship

Daniel was born in Columbia, South Carolina, but has always been a Tiger. He was raised in Marion, North Carolina, and earned a Bachelor's degree at Wingate University (2015) before moving to Clemson to pursue the completion of a Master’s degree in Chemistry (2018). Daniel serves as a Generation LINK resident in the ministry area of discipleship, and is passionate about others knowing and loving the Lord Jesus Christ. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, with the aim of being equipped for lifelong ministry in the gospel. Daniel spends much of his free time hanging out with college students and young professionals, playing sports and board games, enjoying nature and astronomy by the lake, and sharing fun facts with friends.

Starting Sunday, December 16, we will be in ONE 10:00 AM service. We'll resume TWO services on January 13, 2019.
