Ken Lewis | Senior Pastor

Ken is committed to preach and teach God’s word to the body of Christ. Prior to planting Crosspoint Church, Ken served as senior pastor of West Asheville Baptist Church in Asheville, NC (6 years) and Pisgah Forest Baptist Church in Brevard, NC (4.5 years). Pastor Ken graduated from Clemson University (1983) and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1989) with his MDiv. While attending seminary, Ken met his wife, Robin Shealy, who earned her MDiv (1988). Ken and Robin married in May of 1988 and have three sons: Daniel, Caleb and Matt.

Jeremy Chasteen | Missions Pastor

Jeremy serves as the College and Missions Pastor as well as the Generation LINK Director. He has a B.A. in Business Administration from East Carolina University and a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeremy greatly values and loves his family. He married Liz in 1999 and they have four children: Carson (2004), Bryn (2006), Lydia (2008), and Spencer (2011). Liz is a stay-at-home mom and has a passion for caring for their family and mentoring younger women.

Jason Finley | Discipleship Pastor

Jason’s desire is to equip men and women to glorify God through making disciples of Jesus. He gives oversight to adult discipleship and Small Groups. He earned a B.S. in Science Teaching – Biological Sciences from Clemson (2000), a MDiv (2004) and DMin (2015) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Jason met his wife, Cayce, as a student at Clemson and they married June 3, 2001. They have two daughters: Reese (2003) and Anna (2010) and four sons: Will, (2005), Stu & Clark (2006), and Nathan (2011).

Josh Jones | Family Ministries Pastor

Josh desires to see families’ lives transformed by the Gospel. After graduating from Texas A&M (2004), Josh attended a nine-month discipleship program at Denton Bible Church in Denton, TX. This year was formative in shaping his desires for ministry and his understanding of the word of God. Josh earned a Masters in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary (2006). Josh moved to Clemson to serve at Crosspoint with his family in August of 2010. He married his wife Ashley, a Clemson Tiger, on November 18, 2006. They have three children: Ivy(2008), Hudson(2011), and Caleb(2011).
Matt-Denton

Matt Denton | Lay Pastor

Matt is currently a structural engineer at Amec Foster Wheeler in Greenville. After graduating from Clemson University in 2007, he served on staff with Generation LINK for three years working with college ministry and one year as a Pastoral Assistant. He holds both a B.S. & M.S. In Civil Engineering from Clemson University and also a M.Div in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He married Tara Kneece in 2010 and they have three children: Andrew (2012), Rett (2013), and Emery Kate (2016). When he gets free time, he loves spending time with his family, watching football, drinking coffee, running, or reading.

Jason Smith | Lay Pastor

Jason grew up in Salem, SC and has been married to Susan since 1998. After their first daughter, Emerson Rose, passed away at 3 months in 2011, the Lord has blessed them with two daughters, Rowan and Campbell. Jason and Susan launched the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation shortly after Emerson’s death to display the gospel through providing support for families and children of heart defects. Jason graduated from Tammassee-Salem High School and Southern Wesleyan University (1996). Jason is self-employed buying and selling real estate.
Mark-Welborn

Mark Welborn | Lay Pastor

Mark grew up in Pickens, SC and graduated from Clemson in 1981 with a degree in Business Administration. Mark married Cathy in 1983 and the Lord has blessed them with three children: Ashley, Ben, and Adam. Overflowing from a love for God’s Word, the Lord has given Mark a deep love for the local church. In 2005, Mark and Cathy played a pivotal role in the planting of Crosspoint Church by committing to relocate their family with the Lewis’s to Clemson to help start Crosspoint Church.

Brock Bass | Student Minister & Membership Coordinator

Brock desires to partner with families in the spiritual formation and discipleship of middle school and high school students. He earned both a B.S. (2011) and M.S. (2014) in Psychology from Clemson. Brock became a Generation LINK Resident in 2014, serving on staff with a church plant (Essential Church) in Bellevue, WA for three years. While in the Pacific Northwest, Brock began his pursuit of a MDiv from Gateway Seminary and will continue through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brock is married to his first and forever love, Savannah. The Bass family grew on April 26, 2019 with the birth of Piper Everly, Brock and Savannah's daughter.

Abbey Cook | College Ministry Associate & Generation LINK Assistant Director

Abbey is thankful for the privilege to serve as the Generation LINK Assistant Director. She has a passion to disciple women and see the gospel transform their lives, to grow in their love for God and His Word, and to be equipped in biblical womanhood as it relates to others, the church, and the home. Abbey holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from the College at Southeastern and a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She enjoys hanging out with friends, exploring the city, a good cup of coffee, reading, and traveling.

Katelin James | Director of Communications & Connect Coordinator

Katelin longs to see the local church used to make disciples and equip people of all ages for life on mission wherever they are sent. She oversees Crosspoint’s communication strategies and leads our Connect teams on Sunday mornings. Katelin attended Northwestern University (B.S., 2009) before moving to the area to attend graduate school at Clemson University (M.Ed., 2012). She holds a MA from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2019) and has a passion for continuing her studies in Biblical counseling. Katelin and her husband Tyler live in Seneca and love exploring Oconee County, camping, hiking, and antiquing.
Ryan

Ryan Heard | Director of Small Groups

Ryan is passionate about helping people connect to biblical community, grow to be more like Jesus, and reach the lost as they live on mission. He earned a B.A. in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson (2010) and a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2015) while serving as a Generation LINK Resident in College ministry and Communications at Crosspoint (2010-2015). He married his beautiful best friend, Spencer Caroline, in 2019.

Will Jackson | Director of Operations

Will oversees Crosspoint's finances, facilities and staff. His passion is to see Christians equipped and sent on mission as ambassadors for God’s expanding Kingdom. He earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Clemson (2011) and a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2015). Will has previously served as an Industrial Engineer and as a Generation LINK Resident. Will met his wife, Kimberly, in middle school and married her 13 years later (2013). They have one son, Miles (2019).

Ronnie Morris | Worship Minister

Ronnie longs to see God’s people worshiping Him in spirit and truth in all facets of their lives. He helps to make this a reality through serving as Crosspoint’s Worship Minister. Shortly after Ronnie graduated from Clemson (2004), he served as a Generation LINK Resident with Crosspoint for four years as Crosspoint’s Worship Leader. He earned an MDiv in Christian Ministry (2011) as well as a ThM in Biblical Counseling (2017) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ronnie is married to Allison and they have two sons, Tripp and Kline, and a daughter, Della.

Joel Smith | College Minister

Joel serves as the College Minister at Crosspoint Church and has a passion for multiplying and mobilizing laborers to the nations. He has a B.A. in Linguistics from Clemson University and a MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. His family has served in many different contexts ranging from Boston to India, but calls Clemson home. He married Jennifer in 2012 and they have two children: Lilly (2015) and Daniel (2019). Jennifer is a stay-at-home mom and has a passion for caring for their family and mentoring young women.

Sheila Campbell | Financial Administrator

Sheila is the financial administrator in the Crosspoint office. Her desire is to show Christ's love to others through her daily life at work and in the community. She enjoys serving in the cafe and nursery here at Crosspoint. Sheila has been married to her husband Richey since 1991. She has a son named Lane and a daughter named Brianna.

Roddy Campbell | Maintenance Supervisor

Roddy is a retired general contractor who is using his talents to maintain the Crosspoint facility. Roddy is married to Cheryl Campbell. Together they have seven adult children and 19 grandchildren. He and Cheryl are members of Grace Baptist Church in Seneca.

Jennifer Cohenour | Administrative Assistant

Jennifer grew up in Athens, TN and attended Bob Jones University where she earned a BS in Women's Ministries (2011). She worked as Client Services Director for a crisis pregnancy center in Pennsylvania before she and her husband, Michael, moved to South Carolina. Her desire is to intentionally and compassionately serve others with the love and grace of Christ.

Rachel Dietrich | Children’s Ministry Assistant

Since being called by the Lord to pursue vocational ministry, Rachel has made it her aim to please God by loving Him and loving others in any ministry context the Lord places her. Rachel had the honor to serve four years at Crosspoint with their Generation LINK program, while earning her Masters in Christian Ministry (M.Div.). She recently started her new role with Crosspoint serving Family Ministries, where she enjoys partnering with families by coordinating volunteers for nursery and helping with administration. Her crown and joy is her husband, Tim, with whom she can be seen backpacking, traveling, and reading by his side. Rachel also enjoys gardening, art, cooking, spending time with friends, and loving on her kitties, Luna and Albus.

Rachel Ledbetter | Communications Associate

Rachel is passionate about serving the local church through graphic design, video, and social media. Rachel graduated with a degree in Cinematography, and she enjoys supporting the missions team and Generation Link creatively and serving on Sunday mornings with media. Some of her greatest joys are being wife to Matt, mom to her littles, and using her home in a way that seeks to make strangers neighbors, and neighbors family of God.

Jordan Hargrave | Family & College Ministries

Jordan graduated with her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Southern Wesleyan University in 2018 and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Christian Studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. After finishing Summer LINK Seattle in 2017, she felt that the Lord was calling her to pursue full-time ministry within the local church. Jordan is excited to be going into her third year as a Generation LINK resident serving in children's ministry and college ministry. She is eager to continue sharing the love of Christ with children and serve to disciple college girls. In her free time, Jordan enjoys running, playing volleyball, and eating Dunkin Donuts!

Rachel Jones | College Ministry

Rachel Jones is in her second year of the Generation Link residency with Crosspoint and she is excited to serve in our College Ministry. Rachel graduated from Clemson University in May 2019 with a B.A. in Religious Studies and American Sign Language. She came to know Christ at Crosspoint in her Sophomore year of college and has a passion to see college students come to a personal knowledge of who Jesus is. She is excited to further her theological training as she works towards a Christian Studies Masters degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as continued training in ministry through Generation LINK. Rachel loves the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her friends.

Caleb Morgan | Student Ministry

Caleb serves with student ministry as a Generation LINK resident. Having grown up in student ministry as the son of a student pastor, he believes that relationships are the key to reaching students and instilling a life-long love for Christ and his Church. Caleb is a graduate of Union University in Jackson, TN where he graduated with a BS in Communication Studies in 2019, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Studies through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. While attending Union, Caleb met his wife Gabby, and in June 2020 they got married before moving to Clemson later that summer. When not doing ministry, Caleb loves fellowshipping with friends, drinking coffee, going to the movies, and watching football and basketball.

Alice Perry | Student Ministry

Alice is thankful for the opportunity to serve Crosspoint as a Generation LINK resident in family and student ministries. She graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Marketing in May 2018 and is currently working towards a Christian Studies Masters degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Alice is excited to come alongside families to make disciples of the next generation. In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends, baking, and reading.

Chloe Rutherford | College Ministry

Chloe is a first year Generation LINK resident serving with the college ministry. She recently graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelors in Sociology. Chloe started following Christ her freshman year and was greatly impacted by discipleship through being involved in college ministries and Summer LINK. She looks forward to being used by God through investing in college students. Chloe loves hanging out at coffee shops, listening to music, and camping with friends.

Noah Squires | Family Ministry

Noah is in his first year as a Generation LINK resident. Born in Greer, SC he grew up in a military family and has lived in North Carolina, Georgia and Washington. He married his beautiful wife Emily in May 2019, and is working towards his bachelor’s in Communication online at Boyce College with hopes of completing his Masters of Divinity while continuing in the Residency. The Lord led Noah to GLINK after he and his wife discerned his call to full-time vocational ministry. After deciding to move to Louisville, KY by the summer of 2021 to attend Boyce and Southern in person, God, in his perfect timing, directed their path to Generation LINK as His plan for their life. Noah is excited to serve in Family Ministries to impact young lives for the Kingdom. For fun, Noah enjoys hiking, playing guitar, and spending time with friends and family.

Josh Storms | College Ministry

Josh is a Generation LINK resident serving with the college ministry. Josh graduated in May 2020 with a B.S. in Packaging Science from Clemson University. Josh is passionate about equipping and mobilizing students to be on mission in their daily life. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his free time, he likes to rock climb, play guitar, and spend time with friends.

Evan Ward | College Ministry

Evan is a recent graduate of Clemson University, receiving a BA in Elementary Education. Over his four years at Clemson he was a part of the college ministry at Crosspoint and would describe this time as foundational in his walk with the Lord as he sat under the preached word and experienced discipleship like never before. He was able to be a part of SummerLINK Prague in 2018 and SummerLINK Ann Arbor in 2019. Looking back at the impact that this ministry played in his own life, Evan has joined Generation LINK as a college ministry resident and looks forward to seeing the gospel go forth on Clemson’s campus and to the ends of the earth. In his free time Evan loves spending time with his fiancé Ellison, exploring the upstate, and building whatever he can.
