At Crosspoint, we desire to encourage, educate, and equip the church family to worship and engage with the Lord both privately and corporately by singing songs that are God-centered, Christ exalting, Spirit-empowered, and informed by God’s Word.  We feel that the songs we sing are important because they should reflect God’s character, testify of his greatness, and instruct the church body according to the Scriptures. 

In our worship services, we seek to exercise creativity and diversity in music as well.  This means that we sing a variety of different types of music and utilize numerous different song forms, from ancient hymns to modern worship songs.  In this way, the various types of music we incorporate reflect the diversity and gifts found among the individuals who, together, constitute our church body. 

Above all, we are committed to the authority of God’s Word.  Therefore, we desire that the music we incorporate and the creativity that we exercise be guided by the objective truth of the Scriptures.
